W.O.W. Wednesday

Otherwise known as 'Use It or Lose It' this is another favorite phrase from my mom's repertoire! Here was a lady who took senior exercise into her 80's, even after two hip replacements! She believed in moving and, even though she slowed down in later years, she still did stretching and 'chair' exercises as often as she could!
I can't say I'm as dedicated to exercise as my mom was, but lately I've become more aware of the benefits and I'm going to put this little picture up in my sewing room to remind me to Get Moving!

I'm having fun with these little characters, but having trouble keeping up every week, so I'm going to do this less often, maybe with a different title. I'd love some feedback ~ any ideas for a title or any favorite short sayings?
Meanwhile, I have a fabric picture to work on and hope to have it done by the weekend!

Very cute, and good advice. Cats are much better at staying limber than we are.

Too cute!!!! And such great advice as well. I'll see if I can think of any short phrases.

Love it! I can so relate because whether I'm doing yoga, Qi Gong dancing around the apartment or simply washing the floors, my two diva kitties seem to find me entertaining. I should get my boyfriend to dance around the apartment and see if he gets the same response.

If I think of any short phrases, I'll pass them on.

I find that saying very appropriate...working on art is a very still process for me and it's sometimes difficult to sit still for long. My problem lately is instead of moving, if I see my cat taking a nap I tend to join her!
Your work is delightful and seeing it would be a great reminder to move more often!

Judy,
Polly over at Furry and Feathered Friends has been inspired by your Words of Wisdom, "move it or lose it".

Thank you all for your comments!
No one needs to heed these words more than I!
