AEDM-Day 9-Hand Stitching

Yesterday I sat with friends, all of us chatting and stitching on a rainy afternoon. So nice!

I was working on this embroidered cloth which I had started back in February. You can read about my inspiration and the beginning of this project here. I like hand stitching and my goal is to cover this whole piece with all sorts of stitches, almost like a sampler.
Meanwhile, as I took pictures this morning....

my snoopivisor Rosey just had to get in on the act!!
Hope everyone who reads this has a great day!

I wish I had the ability to concentrate on drawings while socializing. This embroidered piece is looking really good so far.

Really lovely. I like your color choices, and the inclusion of the photo with Rosey's paws!

Thankyou, Anne and Carolyn!
The nice thing about doing something like this is that the "design" is there in the woven cloth and the stitchery is very random - whatever comes to me at the moment. Very relaxing!

Just lovely Judy! How nice to sit and chat with friends while working on something you love, wonderful indeed.

I also took a peek at your other pieces in your previous post, all are simply lovely. Happy weekend to you dear friend.
