August

You haven't seen much of me lately, I know.

I have been...

eating New England fried clams at

Woodman's in Essex, MA,

while having a lovely visit from our daughter.

We walked by the lake,

saw some interesting trees,

with amazing roots,

and beautiful birches.
Had such a great visit. Sorry to see it end.

Then we celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary
at Longfellow's Wayside Inn,

saw the beautiful chapel next door where we exchanged vows,

and walked through the lovely gardens.

Life has been busy, and now we are about to go off on vacation.
I'll tell you all about it when we get back!!

Hope you're having a great August!

Enjoy your vacation. Will be looking for your return.
