Cast of Characters - Gina

GINA

Gina is a single mom who lives on
one side of a two family home with her
little girls, Carly and Angie.
On the other side live her mother and dad.
She works two jobs to keep her girls
happy with the toys and clothes they love,
and while she works, her mom babysits.
Gina knows that she is lucky, despite the
disappointment of a loser husband who
walked out on her and his beautiful girls.

Every Sunday, she looks forward to dinner
at her mom's lace-covered dining room table,
with her girls, her brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.
She loves the nearly ceremonial meal of pasta and gravy,
and the laughter, warmth and security
of family.

Gina dances and plays with her girls.
They love having their nails painted and
trying on mom's jewelry.
One day she will find a new love,
but for now her life is full
and she feels blessed.

You are so creative Judith. You should write a novel and illustrate it too. You're a natural at it.

I agree with Cindy. You have a book in you, Judy, and I would buy a few copies!

Judy, I have had a very hectic few weeks, so much so that I was not able to read your blog until today. What a pleasant and delightful surprise I found when I did.
I absolutely love the felting you do. I particularly love the colors. I cannot wait to see what you use it for.
I love the house. It reminds me of one we built and loved so much. The tile roof reminds me of California style homes. The owner must be so happy to have this memory,
I love the new ladies too. Of course I am partial to Gina because I have a daughter named Gina who is a single Mom of one girl, my beautiful granddaughter Chanel. The story reminds me of years ago when she was little and lived with us. Well, now she is grown and lives with us again while she complete her senior year in College.
I hope you compile these lively stories in a book someday. I would love a copy. You are so talented and even though you think you are a procrastinator , you certainly accomplish a lot and bring much joy into others lives. I think I should make a "lady" about you.
Great work. Julie
