Remembering...

This beautiful photo of my dad was taken and developed by my daughter Kate when she was in high school. Today is his birthday - he would have been 92. He passed away less than two years ago. I love having this wonderful, strong image of him framed and hanging in our home as a remembrance. He loved his family, his home, his yard, and his garden.
We remember him with love.

  2. Hi Judy- this is my first visit with you and your blog. My dad passed away in Aug. He would have been 93 in Dec. I'd say you and I were very lucky to have great men in our lives for so long. What is funny is that in your photo, your father looks like my mother's dad, who passed away over 30 years ago.
Well, back to your blog...I think your new header came out beautifully. I can relate to the struggle of getting things done on your site. I had problems yesterday while just trying to post something simple!
I kept reading further into your blog, and your flowers in the blue vase were just what I needed to see. I need Spring! The green shoots of my daffodils are popping in my garden-but not quickly enough! Thanks for the shot of color!
