I needed to make some ATCs
and thought it would be fun to hand stitch them,
using silky fabrics from my "fancy " stash.
I added a little lace for frothy waves,
some beading for flowers
and a bit of fiber and cording for outlining,
and mounted everything on some stiffened felt.
Later, when I went into my sewing room,
I realized that I had left the drawer
containing my silky stash open,
and....
Someone has very elegant taste in bedding!
She looked so comfy I let her stay
there for the morning!
beautiful ATC's Judy!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely ATC's. Cats are so funny they love to sleep in all kinds of nooks, drawers, chairs. It is sweet you allowed Kristy to sleep there for the night.
ReplyDeletethose are wonderful ATCs! and what a nice cat mom you are to let Kristy keep sleeping on your silky fabrics...she certainly looks comfy there.
ReplyDeleteI love your ATC's and that is such a beautiful photo of Kristy on your lovely fabrics. Looks like a painting to me!

ReplyDeleteI love your comments. Many thanks, Ladies!
Just back to blog wandering, and wanted to let you know how pretty these are. The fun use of lace as waves, and the watery colors are just perfect. Nicely done, Judy! And Kristy is a clever girl, finding such a posh place to rest!
ReplyDeleteThese are truly miniature works of art...beautiful! Love the drawer full of cat. :-)
