Finally...

I'm happy to have my new banner up. It took me forever to finish it! Sometimes the simplest things take the longest! I knew that Angus and Rosie would set the right tone for my revised blog.
What do you think?
So, I've been cleaning and organizing my materials, and that means going through boxes of papers! I was amazed at all the ideas I've come up with and never developed. Here is just a sampling of all the lists and sketches I found:

My new goal is to execute some of these ideas and others, and share them on my blog. I'm planning to work in series and post more often. Wish me luck!

On a different note, I had happy news yesterday during my yearly visit to the oncologist - 16 years cancer free! (I had breast cancer way back then.) Always a reason to celebrate!

I treated myself to a bouquet of flowers, shown here on a doily made by my grandmother.

I wish everyone who reads this a very lovely weekend!

See you soon!
Judy

  5. The new header is lovely Judy and very apt as Angus and Rosie feature in the blog often! I like all the ideas and thoughts you have sketched out over the years - maybe you can feature some on here! A great fabric picture of yourself celebrating being cancer free for 16 years too! x

  7. Judy,
Wish you could have heard my audible "Awww!" when I saw your new banner. Perfect.
Congratulations on your cancer free anniversary. My "baby" sister is also a breast cancer survivor and I am truly grateful that she and you are here in my world filling me with grace so regularly.
I am impressed that you put your ideas on paper. Mine are always stuck into my noggin and as a result are easily lost or forgotten. Perhaps seeing your collection has given me the push I needed to begin writing things down.
And don't wait for the big events for giving yourself flowers and using grandma's doily. Every day is a cause for celebration.
All my best and my love.
