My favorite flower quote is by the namesake of the middle school I helped to build, Ralph Waldo Emerson. "Earth laughs in flowers." Judy, this little piece is delightful. Could you describe its size, what materials you used and how you managed the beautiful wicker basket? I know this would spoil the magic for some, but I always want to know... Happy weekend to you, my friend.
Thank you, Nan and Libby! Sharon, this is a small piece, about 4"x6". I had some "basket" fabric which I used, and cut little pieces of it to curve around like a handle. The flowers and leaves are cut from some larger flowered fabric. I choose little parts of things to build new images. The whole thing is fused with Wonder Under.
Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWell, I think we've seen the last of our outdoor flowers and I hope the predicted snow storm isn't as bad as they say!
Some flowers would be perfect now-well, later today! Thanks Judy:)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Judy. It's even more lovely for its petite-ness. F is for fine, fine indeed.
ReplyDeleteFanciful frills and fabulous fabric flowers! Have a lovely week Judy! x
ReplyDeleteI think you're better at letters than I am, Simone! Great alliteration! x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sharon!
