If you follow my blog, you might be tired of seeing this vase of flowers!
We had our last collage quilt class Wednesday night and it was fabulous. Lots of beading
and laughter going on! I realized that I would not be able to finish my embellishing
in time for class, but there was no pressure to do so, but I do want to get it done!
This is where I ended up by Wednesday night.
I still have some beading to do, but I'm trying to decide -
do I want to finish off the complete soft hanging?
Or, do I want to have the vase off-center and just include the
right hand border strip?
Or, do I want to just use the central portion and put
a white linen border on it, with a black "frame"...
as I did with this picture.
I'd like to hang it in my living room and the smaller size would
suit the wall I'm thinking of.
Any thoughts??
Hope you've had a very good week!
So many options! I like the vase off centre but it is your choice Judy. Go with your gut feeling!!! I am always wanting to get projects finished so I can move on to the next thing! x
ReplyDeleteI vote for the third option of vase and flowers on their own.
ReplyDeleteThe classes and techniques must have been loads of fun. So nice you shared it all with us.
It's lovely of course:) I sure like the cleanliness of that last look. I know you will decide on something great!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS!!!!! Like it off-set, but would like to see what it looks like off-set on the other side also.
ReplyDeleteJudy,
ReplyDeleteNo matter what you pick it will be fabulous. My pick would be the off center look. It looks so interesting.

SO beautiful friend....do you ever think of offering your lovelies for sale
ReplyDeletefrom your blog?
I'd love to know I could buy
something you created.
Is that something that would interest you?
And a wonderful, buoyant new year to you....hope your January is a beautiful wonder.

Your vase of flowers is beautiful! I would either keep the full border or just use the central portion. If you already know where you want to put it and what size would be best, maybe you should just go with that.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Rosie keeping you company as you worked in the last post. :)
