Back to line drawing with a brush pen again today.
I'm starting to question my ability to draw faces,
as everything I make is beginning to look the same to me.
If you've stopped by to look at this post, I'm wondering -
Do you prefer my line drawings or colored pencil portraits?
I'm questioning myself, but I suppose that's to be expected
after all these days of drawing faces!
Thanks for visiting!
Hope your week is off to a good start!
Judy I like your line drawings AND your coloured pencil drawings. If you feel your faces are looking alike, why not look at some different faces on pinterest or online for inspiration - old craggy faces, big noses, unusual shaped faces/heads and various hairstyles etc....
ReplyDeleteIt must be difficult to draw faces everyday. I find it hard to draw anything everyday!!! x
Finally catching up -- ! I love BOTH your line drawings and colored pencil drawings. It all adds up and cross pollinates, right? The characters are like chocolates in a box -- the text you write helps animate their personalities. Thank you so much for sharing all of these pieces. As you know, my students were so motivated by seeing them and trying out their own ideas!! You are so clever and your art inspires, Jooody!
