This is an Artist Trading Card I received in January from my friend Janice.
The words are printed on a transparent overlay and the last verse reads,
In January
when there's snow
we get our sleds
and away we go.
Love it!!
I'm playing catch-up, since we had agreed to trade cards back in January, and I hadn't made any until now. There's something about this relatively tiny size that intimidates me! But last weekend I set out with scrapbook paper, scissors, xacto knife, glue and other supplies and spent the afternoon creating.
January
February
March
(Janice has a German Shepherd)
I'm promising myself that I'll keep on top of my monthly 'tiny art challenge' from now on!
Can you guess that my theme for 2013 is 'Windows'?
Hope you're having a wonderful day!!
These are gorgeous Judy. I have never made an ATC. Something else to put on my 'to do' list! x
ReplyDeleteSplendid! I especially love the look in the dog's eyes... watching for Janice to come home perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThese look like fun. What finished size are they??
Wonderful! They are beautiful and they tell a story.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Simone, Sharon and Paula!!
ReplyDeleteThe ATCs are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" - not a lot of space to tell a story!! But they are not meant to be perfect!
I adore how your ATC's have a 3 dimension quality with all the different paper you use.
ReplyDeleteAh yes...that is my not so little anymore puppy! The cards are beautiful, Judy...so you! Love, J
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh Judy! your cards are amazing! so much detail in such a little size. beautifully and lovingly done! xx
