ART and STITCH by Judy Hartman

Today was beautiful - sunny and breezy - and Bill and I

took a walk through Lakeside Cemetery.

The foliage was stunning, with strong sunlight and shade

                                                            providing dramatic contrast.

We loved this huge tree - possibly two trees very close together!

It was a lovely day and, after a nice walk, we went out for a bit of lunch.
A perfect autumn day!

This, my favorite season, is all too brief. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy it and that you shared it all with us. Our color isn't as superlative, but lovely just the same. We've been enjoying a string of perfect days which hasn't happened here for a few years. So we too try to absorb what we can and be grateful. That tree is magnificent, by the way. We love our trees here and just added 2 more maples along with 3 shrubs which should add to our color display for years to come. Thanks, dear friend.

And thank YOU, dear Sharon. I think that adding trees to your property is a great symbol of hope for the future, as with any plantings! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful season!
