Daily Sketch

For today's sketch I used markers and watercolor pencils.

I seem to be gravitating lately toward sketches of
females with curly hair - possibly because it's been very humid
and my hair is going wild!
I'm pleased that I've worked in my sketchbook every day this week.
It's a satisfying habit and I'm enjoying it.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Drawing

I finished up this drawing today, enjoying the process and not worrying about the results. I used Micron pens, extra-fine Sharpies and watercolor pencils. This reminds me of Rosie, who tries to eat flowers. Looks like she is resting in a potential salad of blossoms! (Yes, I keep flowers away from her!)

Hope you are having a great week!

A Favorite Dress

When I was about 12, I remember having this yellow gingham
dress, which I wore to church, with white "pumps",
white clutch purse, white gloves, and a hat.

It was nice to dress up on Sundays.
I always think it's too bad that everything is so casual now.

Hope your week is off to a great start!
