Paper Cutting - Sunday Best

I've decided to work with "themes" for a while on my blog. Just another way to motivate myself!! For the rest of September, my theme will be "Faces" - something I love to do, and I have many ideas floating around in my head on this subject!!
This little girl is dressed in her Sunday best. She is just a little ATC and she is made with fabric, paper, and marker.
The fabric part is her hair, some random bit of shiny fabric I had, and it was tough to photograph!! Although not that shiny, it produced a terrific glare with the flash! I'm hoping to scan things like this in the near future when I get my scanner working properly. The rest is paper, including the lacy collar and cuffs.

She's a sweetie pie! I just today found a new blog that has a monthly challenge. Perhaps you've seen it? http://embracetheface.blogspot.com/. I'm thinking about participating. Are you interested in joining me?

Hi Judy,
I haven't visited for a while and what a treat to see your 'little girl". She is lovely. You are so clever with capturing her essence.

I like what you have done with the wool landscape. The felting seems to be very popular in Australia at the moment.

cheers Shirley

I do a little consulting for www.QuiltersBiz.com in Michigan .... you probably won't use it but if you would like a 10% discount coupon code SADIA1231, for use as many times as wanted between now and the 31/12/08 on site please feel free to pass on to friends, family and colleagues.
