My dear friend Elaine, who does beautiful paper cutting, made this card for me several years ago when I was going through a difficult time. I can remember how delighted I was when I opened the envelope and unfolded this sunny frieze of daffodils! It really cheered me up!
Now I love to take it out in the springtime. It's a lovely piece of art and it reminds me how very fortunate I am to have such a wonderful friend!

Oh, I agree with quiltcat,
that sings of spring and sunny days ahead!
What fun to see my Mumsie's daffodils on your post, Judy! She's a very clever girl, eh? And one of the many things she taught us kids was to use up every scrap of paper/fabric/colored pencil. No wasting at her house! Do you suppose that's where my fabric stash tendencies come from? I cannot part with the tiniest scrap! Thanks, Judy, (and Mom) for this fun memory.
Wow - that is beautiful! Yea Spring!
That is a wonderful piece....and so appropriate for the time of year.
Hey there! Thanks for visiting my blog, as always. Love the daffodils!!! Pat
Makes me smile just looking at them.

So glad to hear praise for Elaine's daffodils!! They are even prettier in person!
Lucky me!
Oh, these daffodils made my day! I planted daffodil bulbs after my Dad passed away and they're all in bloom now. I feel a daffodil quilt coming on.
