How Cute is This?
Like most cats, Kristy loves to find little spaces to hang out in. Lately she's been loving this crevice between the two square tables that serve as a coffee table in our living room. She had just finished washing herself and was putting her paw down when I snapped this. I think she looks like she is practicing a dance from "A Chorus Line"!
Although she looks like a kitten, Kristy is actually 15 or 16 years old. We didn't know her exact age when we adopted her from a shelter, but she has always been a very little cat (6 lbs as I write this).
Sadly, her age is catching up with her and her kidney function is going down and she has a serious heart murmur. We'll be taking her for some xrays soon, but we know she won't live forever. Meanwhile, we give her all the lap time, pats and attention we can. She still seems to have a good appetite and good energy.
She's our little sweetie!

That is a wonderful photo of Kristy!
So dainty! Two of our kitties are around the same age as Kristy and I also cherish every moment with them. They are so very sweet and precious!
She looks like she is sitting there with her legs crossed. It's so hard to see our beloved pets grow old and start having difficulties. Poor baby!
Our pets won´t be in our sight forever, but sure they will live much longer than that.
Hope your Kristy will be around for a long long time yet, though.
She is a sweetheart-very dainty and feminine looking. Our Hannah is 16 and has similar health issues. Our boy cat Desi lived to be 19. We just care for them and love them the best we can. They are a wonderful gift to be sure:)
sending you and kristy warm, cozy energy.

What a sweetheart.
Kristy is certainly a tiny little lady! My smallest cat weighs twice as much as she does. I think it looks like she's dealing a hand of blackjack in a special kitty casino! I hope that her health issues won't catch up with her for a long time...and if the vet recommends giving her subcutaneous fluids at home to help her kidneys, i'd recommend it as being easy and very helpful.
I'm glad you baby her! She is precious. Sorry to hear she is having kidney troubles! I hope she does well and gets to enjoy much much more lap time!
Kristy is an endearing little cat. Isn't it funny how cats tend to like small spaces? My big ginger cat would sit in a small shoe box and just hang out all over the edge! x
