Heartfelt February Giveaway!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I've been having so much fun this month making hearts, 

and I've loved showing hearts made by friends.

Now it's time to begin the giveaway I promised!

These are the hearts I'll be giving away. 

Each will have a ribbon hanger so that it can be used as an ornament, 

except for the paper heart at the bottom.

Happy September and a Giveaway!

I've been working on sprucing up my blog for the fall and even embroidered a new banner for the top. But when it came to photographing it, certain little critters couldn't resist getting into the act! How could I resist the crooked photo with Rosie's paw in it for a header?

After wrestling with the new Blogger template designer, but wanting to keep things simple, this is what I've come up with for now!

Meanwhile, I've decided to have a giveaway!

                                              

This is a machine stitched, hand painted and beaded picture which I pulled out of my "to be completed" drawer! I added some shading and finished it up for this giveaway.

It is 7" square and mounted on a piece of stiff matboard so that it can be placed on a shelf or table, or hung on a wall.

Giveaway

Here is the completed fabric artwork for my giveaway. The sky is hand painted fabric and it is machine stitched. The title is "Evening Breeze" and the piece measures about 8"x8". I've decided to extend the time for leaving comments. I'll draw the winning name Wednesday morning, January 7.

2 Years and Still Going Strong!

I'm having a giveaway for my 2 year blogiversary. Here's a little sneak peek at the fabric art piece I am going to give away. Yes, it is still in process! More will be done to it, but if you read my blog, you'll trust that it will be OK when done. Along with this, I'll be gifting 2 ATCs, which I'll show in my next post.

100th Post Giveaway!!!

Hooray!

I recently published my 100th post and I am ready to celebrate!

Blogging has been a wonderful part of my life for the past year and a half. It has helped me through some pretty difficult life events and introduced me to some wonderful people whose work I really 

admire! And, as I had hoped, it has inspired me to do more creative things than I had ever done before! Like many people, I'm not all that confident about my abilities, but I'm encouraged by the supportive comments I've received!

Now I would like to give something back.

A week ago I posted a picture of a woodland nymph's face which people seemed to like. So, for this giveaway, I have made three such faces to give away.(Two are shown.) These are hand cut paper art and each is matted with an oval opening ivory mat, ready to pop into your 5"x7" frame.

If you would like to enter my drawing for one of these ladies, simply leave a comment at the end of this post. If you do not have a blog, you can leave a comment under "anonymous" and sign your name within the body of the comment. If you tell someone about this giveaway and they leave a comment and mention your name, I will put your name into the drawing another time. A Giveaway!!

I'm announcing a giveaway in honor of my one year blog 

anniversary!!In a lovely Anna Griffin folder I have packed three red blank cards and envelopes and a selection of black, white and red beads, buttons, ribbons and trims. As I go through my private stash of embellishments, I keep adding more goodies, so it should provide a good start for the winners' valentine card or collage making experience!!
